The Zeiss Milvus 100mm f/2M Lens completely covers all of these categories. The Zeiss Milvus 100mm f/2M Lens is exceptionally well built and delivers image quality to match. I borrowed that introduction from the review of the Zeiss 100mm f/2.0 Makro-Classic Lens , the predecessor to the Milvus variant of this lens.
The EF-S 60mm Macro uses relatively inexpensive/small 52mm filters. The lens comes with no Lens Hood (I suggest purchasing the ET-67B Lens Hood) and no lens pouch. Excellent sharpness and very good overall image quality in a nice package - the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens will have many happy owners.

Canon 100mm f2.8L @ f5.6 crop of tap. In the tap series, note again the sharpness straight off the bat at f2, which is similar to the Canon at f2.8. Zeiss sharpness is already incredible at f2.8 and clearly superior to the Canon at the same aperture, although by f5.6 both lenses are excellent.

There are no reverse adapters at this time. If you wish to use the RF100 lens with an extender, it will require an appropriate RF extender.
This small and light Canon 100mm f/2 is sharper than the sharpest zoom I've ever used: my Canon 70-200mm f/4 L IS, and it's four times as sensitive to light, letting me shoot with one-quarter the ISO or with four-times the shutter speed in the same situation.

The only thing holding me back is that i found the 100mm macro f/2.8 IS USM not táck sharp at f/2.8 at on aps-c. There is a noticeable difference between f/2.8 and f/4.0. Not with fast AF but with not bad af. Sigma 50mm f1.4, f1 on Viltrox EF M2 handheld in lousy light\ 100mm Canon Macro f2.8 f2 on Viltrox, wide open. Handheld.

Image Quality. Not shocking to anyone is that the 28-year-newer Canon RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM Lens design produces sharper images than the Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Lens. In the center of the frame, the RF 85 f/2 is quite sharp wide-open at f/2. At f/2.8, with contrast and resolution increasing slightly, results are razor sharp.
